Hello!!!
I love having a nice breakfast or brunch at the beginning of the day. It really perks me up and keep me happy for the entire day. I started having the breakfast habit when I'm in Sydney because there are so many nice places for breakfast and I always am able to wake up early (which I don't know why because I never wakes up early when I'm in Singapore).
Hence, I go around searching for many nice breakfast place in Sydney. So far, I have found 8 places where you can try for breakfast and all of them are American breakfast. I'll introduce what I ate to you and you can try the other food there and tell me what you think about it because I can't possibly try all the food they have on their menu. I'll try to find more nice breakfast place next semester and make a part 2 for you. So here goes.....

Vanto
Level 1, Queen Victoria Building
(455 George Street)
Sydney, NSW
I like the ambience and the food there. Although it's located at QVB, the price is still reasonable. The waiter is also very friendly as well =) I ate mushroom, avocado, salmon and egg benedict dish (Sorry I couldn't remember the name of the dish) while Raz had the salmon with egg benedict combination. I tried both and it was quite yummy. I love mushroom and I think the mushroom is super yummy!! And the bread goes very well with the runny eggs.

Le Petit Creme
118 Darlinghurst Road
Darlinghurst, NSW
Shuning was the one who brought me to the place. And she even said that the egg benedict here is mind-blowing. The place is at Darlinghurst. It's quite far away for me to walk there but the distance is still ok if you take a bus from Central. I like the egg benedict with the bread. The bread doesn't taste like normal bread but I can't remember what is the bread called. But the bread is yummy. The only downside is that it is a little expensive. It's like 22AUD for a breakfast meal. It's really quite expensive because you can find other places which serves similar stuff but at a cheaper price. I guess the only reason why it is so expensive because it only serves egg benedict during weekends and it is 'mind-blowing'.

The Tea Cosy
33 George Street
The Rocks, New South Wales
If you had been following my Instangram, you'll know that this is one of my favorite place for breakfast. I kept raving to everybody about this scone place and everyone whom I brought there loved the scones. They have different set meals for different amount of people and each person will get 2 scones and 1 choice of your drink. My favorite jam will be the pear and vanilla, while my favorite tea is green tea strawberry. If you don't mind ginger, you can try ginger and fig for the jam. It's quite nice as well. This is the number 1 place that I introduce if you go to the Rocks.

The Fine Food Store
Kendall Ln.
The Rocks, NSW
Actually to say the truth, I find the food here OK only. I went there twice because the 2nd time it was raining so heavily and we got no where else to go. So we decided to go there. I think the portion is very small as compared to other places and that explains where it's not worth the price. Also, the waiter are not very friendly as compared to other restaurants. I had the waffles and the poach eggs and I think both are OK. Not very nice and not very not nice. It's just average.

Four Ate Five
485 Crown Street
Surry Hills, NSW
The 1st time I came here was the the UNSW girls and I think the poached eggs dishes are quite nice. I had the corn dish and it was quite good. Considering the fact that I don't really eat corn, I think the corn was quite nice. I tried Chanya's salmon avocado and it was good. The only thing that is stopping me from ordering the 2nd time I went was the avocado. I ordered the french toast on my 2nd visit and I was kind of disappointed. I saw many comments from foursquare that the french toast is nice and that it has banana inside it. But I got bored of the food after eating a few mouth because it was quite plain. Other than the small chunks of banana inside, there isn't any other stuff. The toast itself is quite plain and the maple syrup was also quite sweet. I still prefer their poached eggs dishes.

Pier 8 Cafe
Pier 8/9, 22 Hickson Road
Millers Point, NSW
Shuning was the one who brought me here and I was quite surprise that this place actually has a restaurant that serves breakfast. I only tried their scramble eggs and I think that it's OK only. I guess I should try other food in order to give more comment. But I love the view while eating breakfast there. It's super awesome =)

Bill's Restaurant
359 Crown Street (Foveaux Street)
Surry Hills, NSW
Joly was the one who introduced me this place. I had been here for so long but I haven't heard of this place before. There's actually a lot of good review about this place after I did some research on the place. So we walked all the way there from my place to Surry Hills just to try it. I tried the scramble eggs and I thought it is really awesome.

Mad Spurs Cafe
479 Crown Street
Surry Hills, NSW
This cafe is just located beside Four Ate Five. It was my 1st time there and I love their mushrooms!!! It goes very well with the egg benedict. And the cherry tomato is so small and it tasted so yummy!!! I only tried one of their dishes and I guess I'll continue to order it the next time I'm there.
